Cyndee Berg

| November 2, 2011 7:44 AM

Cyndee Susan Berg, 53, of Billings, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Oct. 12, 2011. She was at home with her family by her side.

She was born in Whitefish on July 16, 1958, to Bill and Marjorie Smith, of Columbia Falls. In 1967, after her parents' divorce, she moved to Billings with her mother and two brothers. Her oldest brother, now of Forsyth, stayed in Columbia Falls with their father, but they remained close.

In 1986, after being together for more than three years, Cyndee married Bill Berg, of Billings. Together they had five boys, Justin and wife Kristi, Jake, Jade and wife Shelly Cruz, Jarret and Jeff, all of Billings, and one daughter, Camilla Jean, who died of SIDS after one month.

Cyndee worked at Billings Clinic for the past 17 years in the supplies department, a job she truly loved. She made many close friends while working there and was appreciated for her dedication to her job.

She was well known for her smile, laughter and her ever present carafe of coffee, because no other coffee was as good as her own!

She is survived by her mother Marjorie Stoick and husband Stan, of Worden; father Bill Smith and wife Linda, of Marion; brothers Dick Smith and wife Alecia, of Forsyth, Steve Smith and wife Susan, of Billings, and Rocky Smith and wife Sue, of Billings; husband Bill Berg, at the family home; their five sons; and several nieces and nephews.

She was well loved and will be missed.

Cremation has taken place and services were held Oct. 17, 2011.
