Glacier Institute posts June schedule

Marking its 27th year of providing nature-related educational programs, the Glacier Institute serves adults and children as an educational leader in the Crown of the Continent ecosystem, with Glacier Park at its center.

The Institute is a long-time partner with Glacier National Park, the Flathead National Forest, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks and Flathead Valley Community College.

The Institute offers family programs, youth science adventure camps, Discovery School at the Big Creek Outdoor Education Center and adult educational programs. Nature-related courses offered through June:

• Bears in Many Glacier (June 3-5)

• Spring Wildflowers (June 10)

• Natural and Cultural History of Two Medicine & Belly River (June 13-14)

• Glacier's Birds of Prey (June 16, 17)

• The Uncommon Loon (June 18-19)

• Wild Medicinal Herbs (June 20, 21)

• Wolves of the North Fork Valley (June 20)

• Landscapes in Watercolor (June 22-23)

• Glacier Through Naturalist Eyes (June 23)

• Journey with Ralph: Glacier's Naturalist (June 24-25)

• Summer Mushroom Extravaganza (June 27-28)

• North Fork River Ecology by Raft (June 27-28)

• Railroad History (June 29)
