WHS straight 'A' students celebrated

Ninety-two students earned straight “A”

marks during the past two semesters at Whitefish High School. Of

those students, 28 were freshmen, 18 sophomores, 23 juniors and 23

seniors.

These students were invited to attend

Whitefish High School’s annual Academic Awards program, sponsored

by the Whitefish chapter of the National Honor Society, on March 22

at the Whitefish Middle School auditorium. The guest speaker was

science teacher Chris Ruffatto, who gave a slide show on his recent

rafting trip down the Yampa River and its geology.

Seniors include Hannah Dillon, Bailey

Eaton, Sydney Gillette, Stella Holt, Matthew Kennedy, Adam Koziol,

Kiley McConnell, Jake Morison, Keaton Morrison, Miranda Myers,

Britney Petrina, Jonathan Reimer, Jessica Sagen, Jack Steele, Carl

Talsma, Erik Ehlert, Samantha Faraone, Anne Gustenhoff, Kaia

Morrison, Dietrich Perchy, Julianne Peterman, Simone Saitta and

Shelby Scherping.

Of these students, seven won gold

letters signifying straight “A’s” throughout their high school

careers. They are Bailey Eaton, Sydney Gillette, Matthew Kennedy,

Adam Koziol, Jake Morison, Miranda Myers, Jessica Sagen and Carl

Talsma.

Vasquez, Eli Watts, and Kristiana Wigner.
