Every girl on the Lady Bulldogs tennis

roster scored a win last weekend after duals with Corvallis and

Havre on Friday and at the Bitterroot Invitational on Saturday.

“I’m tickled that everyone got a win,”

Whitefish coach Patrick Dryden said. “We played some good, quality

tennis. It’s like the light is going on and they are getting

it.”

Friday, the team topped Havre 2-1 in a

shortened dual featuring only doubles matches. Teams of Ryan

Chauner and Haley Craven, and Maggie Frankino and Lauren Cain each

won.

Dryden noted the play of Karissa

DeMarco against Corvallis in her 8-6, 6-1 win over Samantha

Stoker.

“She’s made some marked improvement,

which is important for us to be successful,” he said.

Caroline Carbo was impressive at the

Invitational, Dryden said. She defeated Kelcy Jensen-Coon, of

Dillon, 6-4, 3-6, 12-10.

“Coaches were talking about her,” he

said. “Here’s an upstart freshman that’s turning some heads.”

In doubles, Megan Danczyk and Lindsey

Viscomi defeated Stevensville’s team 6-1, 6-2. Lauren Cain and

Maggie Frankino earned a win, too.

“We’re all smiles,” Dryden said about

the weekend of tennis.
