Glacier National Park crews have plowed beyond Big Bend on the Going-to-the-Sun Road, about three miles from Logan Pass.

They have begun pioneering near an area called The Chutes and Triple Arches. Triple Arches is a dangerous section, with avalanche chutes as well as a sheer dropoff of more than 200 feet.

On the east side, plow crews are near the east side tunnel. After that is the Big Drift, which can take some time to clear.

Many Park roads are open, although the Cut Bank Road remains closed at the Park boundary and is muddy up to the Park entrance.

In addition, the Inside North Fork Road is closed between Logging Creek and Fish Creek.
