A 70-year-old man from Alberta died in Glacier National Park on Saturday, July 23, after his motorcycle crashed about 5:30 p.m. on the Going-to-the-Sun Road in front of the restroom west of Logan Creek.

Richard Fish was eastbound on his motorcycle when he slid into oncoming traffic. Glacier National Park rangers and Three Rivers EMS responded to the scene. Fish was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

At least one other vehicle was involved in the crash, and traffic in both directions was held up for more than an hour while Park Service personnel began investigating the accident.
