No Skees
This November, voters in House District 4 will be given a choice between voting for rhetoric or voting for results.
Derek Skees is a master of “sound byte” politics. He tells the voters what they want to hear, not what they need to hear. Skees will tell you that he is going to create jobs, lower taxes, reduce government, fix education and everything else that voters want to hear. What he won’t tell you is how he will create jobs, reduce government, or feasibly reduce taxes.
One of Derek’s proposals is to eliminate the business equipment tax. Our state is already facing a possible budget deficit. How will eliminating a tax help balance our budget?
Skees would love to tell you that we need to lower taxes to make Montana more business-friendly, but is he aware that we’re currently ranked as one of the most business-friendly states in America?
If you want to vote for rhetoric, vote for Derek Skees. Now, if voting for sound-bytes, empty promises and rhetoric do not sound appealing to you, you could always vote for Will Hammerquist.
Will Hammerquist doesn’t make promises that are impossible to keep. He comes up with practical plans and options to create economic growth and jobs, plans that will result in results.
If you want a legislator who will actually accomplish something, someone who already has a track record for producing results, and someone who is aligned with reality, then I would suggest voting for Will Hammerquist.
