John Jones

John Richard Jones, 76, won the victory

over his cancer and went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 17, 2010,

peacefully surrounded by family members.

John was born July 5, 1934, in Brigham

City, Utah, to Iris and Anna Jones, of Ogden, Utah, one of 10

siblings.

He served three years in the Army and

four years in the Air Force. He married Nyssa Luise Reid on Nov. 4,

1961, in Polson, taking on six children in addition to his own.

Later, they had three more children of their own.

John was preceded in death by his

parents.

He is survived by his wife; children

Jody Jones, of Ogden, Iris Jones, of Whitefish, Niles Jones and

wife Dixie, of Columbia Falls, Anne Krause and husband Scott, of

Whitefish, Jeri Reid, of Portland Ore, Bernie Haggard and wife

Margaret, of Payette, Idaho, Terrell Haggard and wife Mary, of

Ontario, Ore., Faryl Haggard and wife Peggy, of Pablo, Claryl

Haggard, of Dillon, Daryl Haggard and wife Carol, of Nampa, Idaho;

and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at

Austin Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at 1 p.m.
