Joseph L. "Joe" Bellerose

Joseph L. (Joe) Bellerose, Jr., 66, died Jan. 13 at the Montana Veterans' Home in Columbia Falls. Joe was born in Burien, Wash., to Joseph and Gladys (Zetterburg) Bellerose on Sept. 3, 1943, and was raised and educated in Burien. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1963, and received his honorable discharge in 1965.

Joseph had been a photographer, painter, musician, fly fisherman and skydiver. Later in his life, he graduated from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. He had been a resident of the Flathead Valley for the past 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy; and brothers Jerry Bellerose of Chillicothe, Ohio; and Kerry Bellerose of Auburn, Wash., as well as good friends in the Flathead Valley.

Services will be held Jan. 21 (today) at the Columbia Mortuary Chapel; visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until service time.
