Thanks for the coats

To the editor,

I wanted to take a moment on behalf of my family to thank Ms. Barb Proctor and everyone who assisted with her Keeping Kids Warm Charity she did for Christmas. I know three teenagers that welcomed Christmas and a sledding trip with new coats, hats and gloves. The school-initiated Secret Santa, as it was referred to by my children, was a welcomed relief. It is fantastic to see that in our small community people do come to the rescue and help. As a recipient family, we are very grateful for the recent outpouring of support and kindness by our wonderful town.
