Food bank donation
The North Valley Food Bank gave out
more than 175 food baskets, some with crock pots, and all shared in
gift cards of $2,300 from an anonymous donor.
The food bank is trying to do its share
by promoting a “crock pot” hot meal ready for a family sit-down
dinner when kids get home.
Getting the families together for a
meal to discuss problems and daily happenings we hope will help
address any problems before drugs, bullying and suicide take
hold.
Thanks for the 20 crock pots, turkeys,
hams and canned goods to make our Christmas baskets great.
We are still looking for a larger home
for our food bank. Ideas and funds are needed.
