Skybridge

As a regular vacationer to Whitefish over the last 30 years, I am surprised at the quality of the pedestrian bridge that goes over Wisconsin Avenue by The Lodge at Whitefish Lake.

Thankfully, overall Whitefish has continued to be particular about architectural standards as the area has grown. My first reaction when I saw the pedestrian bridge was that it looks like a modular home in the air.

I would urge local officials to maintain high standards when approving new structures so that Whitefish may continue to keep its beautiful charm for years to come.

I also suggest asking the owners to make additional modifications to the pedestrian bridge to make it more aesthetically pleasing, as their building is.
