The summer concert series presented by the Columbia Falls Lions Club continues Thursday, Aug. 12 (today) at 7:30 p.m. at Marantette Park.

The Flathead National Forest is hosting a free presentation on the Fires of 1910 on Thursday, Aug. 12 (today), at 6:30 p.m. at the Forest Service Office, 650 Wolfpack Way, Kalispell. The program will include a 30-minute video presentation produced by the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho. The video presentation communicates the story about the forces of nature, government, and manifest destiny; colliding in the Northern Rockies during the summer of 1910. The Glacier Restaurant Group will donate a portion of all food tabs to the Glacier National Park Fund on Tuesday, Aug. 17. Eat at the Craggy Range, Ciao Mambo and Latitude 48 in Whitefish or at MacKenzie River Pizza in either Whitefish or Kalispell any time that day and help the fund support Glacier National Park.
