Imagine Health will hold a Women’s Empowerment seminar on Oct. 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. at its center in Columbia Falls. Call Cheryl or Anne at 892-4406 to save a spot. The seminar is taught by Judy Fjell. Fjell has been empowering students and workshop participants for over thirty-five years. She teaches private students in Big Timber and tours as a performer and workshop leader throughout the western United States and Japan.

Columbia Falls Youth Soccer’s season wrap up meeting is Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. at the North Valley Hospital Community Room on Nucleus Avenue. All coaches and parents are encouraged to attend to discuss the season. A board meeting/election of officers for 2010 will be Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. at the same location.

The Columbia Falls Women’s Connection will hold its luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 11:30 a.m. at the North Valley Community Center on Nucleus Avenue. The featured guest will be Karen Spalding, a registered nurse with a passion to improve healthy living around the world one person at a time. The guest speaker is Diane Koch, she lobbied Congress on Death Penalty reform after the death of her husband who was killed in the bombing of the Alfred. P Murrah Building in Oklahoma City. She has also worked with victims at the Family Center in New York after Sept. 11, 2001.
