Thanks for finding son

To the editor,

Unless you've stood where I stood on Sept. 20, 2009 you can't begin to fully understand the horror of not finding your son. I can not begin to express my sincere gratitude, and heart felt appreciation to the Columbia Falls Police, Fire Dept., Sheriffs Dept., Search & Rescue and last but certainly not least the amazing people of C-Falls. While making the call to the police an officer was in my driveway before I hung up. Within moments the Amber Alert went out and a command center was set up at Ruder School. The awful realization when Search & Rescue with their dog were getting his scent. The amazing people that got out of their comfort zone and searched every corner of C-Falls, if only he had been there. Prayers were answered !! God is good all the time. My son is Special Needs and was found 12-15 miles from home making his own adventure because he felt he didn't have any friends. I most humbly thank the Columbia Falls Police, the Fire Dept., Sheriff, Search & Rescue and the incredible people of Columbia Falls. He is the different one in the class. Goofy but his personality is explosive. I couldn't ask for a better friend. Thank you so much to everyone.
