Susan Allen

| March 4, 2009 11:00 PM

Susan Jan Allen, 55, went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2009. She passed away in her home — surrounded with the comfort and love of her family.

Sue was born April 30, 1953, and raised on an Iowa farm, then traveled the country before planting her roots in Hungry Horse, where she lived for the past 25 years. She loved the mountains, picking huckleberries and gardening. Sue loved the Lord and was a devoted member of her church. Sue owned and operated Rainbow Bodyworks in Columbia Falls were she loved to do reflexology and massage. Many people know Sue from her work at the Nite Owl and Glacier Bank.

Sue was beautiful inside and out. She was truly a kind, caring, loving woman who did anything in her power to help those in need. She touched the lives of all who knew her. Sue was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend. Sue was our angel on Earth. She was the sunshine of her family and the light of our lives. No words can express how much she is loved and missed.

Sue is survived by her husband, Jeffery; son Joshua; daughter Sarah; sisters Diane, Lynne and Sharon; and many friends and relatives.

Memorial services for Sue will be held on Monday, March 9 at New Covenant Fellowship, 436 Birch Grove, Kalispell, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions to help with Sue’s medical bills are appreciated. Thanks to all those who helped with her fundraising and care in any way.
