Children's House Montessori School will offer the Saplings program, an early-learner program for children 2-4 years old that follows Montessori guidelines. A certified Montessori teacher will lead the children through all aspects of socialization, early language and math lessons, spatial relationships and sensory education. CHMS has begun implementing an outdoor classroom to provide a unique and natural learning space. The first phase includes installing a fence in the front yard of the school, a new sign with the new CHMS logo, gardens, a compost bin, and hopefully soon a weather station. CHMS also has a summer program for kids 2-10 including a host of enrichment classes that parents may register for by the week. Located adjacent to Muldown Elementary School, CHMS has been serving the Whitefish community for more than 20 years. For more information, call 863-4685.
