William Plummer

| August 6, 2009 11:00 PM

William "Bill" Russell Plummer, 58, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, following a short battle with cancer. He was born on July 18, 1951, in Missoula, to Charles and Sylvia Plummer.

He had been residing in Columbia Falls with the love of his life and best friend and wife, Susan, and her son, Kenny.

Bill loved family and friends and had a love of the outdoors. He provided lots of fish and birds for Sunday dinners with mother-in-law Julienne, and many friends and other family get-togethers. Most of all, Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing and shooting trap with family and friends, especially when he won — he loved to rub it in.

Bill will be missed by all. Susan's son Kenny has said that his mom will have a special scar from the deep loss.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Patty; and his grandparents.

Bill is survived by his wife, Susan, and her family. He is also survived by his parents, Chuck and Sylvia Plummer; sister Kim Plummer; brother Wes and his wife, Sue, all of Kalispell; son Johnny; and numerous nieces, nephews and grandkids.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in his name be made to the Flathead Valley Trap Club (FVTC) or an organization of your choice.

Services were held Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls.

Immediately following there were desserts and stories by all at the family home of Chuck and Sylvia in Kalispell.
