Get permission to use names

I was shocked to discover my name on the full-page list of Mike Jopek supporters (in an ad in the Oct. 30 Pilot).

I have not contributed to his campaign for four years. It insults me when people assume I still support them and don't take the time to ask permission to use my name.

I am also now aware that there were other non-supporters on the list and, I believe, several deceased people.

Perhaps Mr. Jopek could see that a law gets passed that requires people's written or verbal support for election advertisements.
