Stop fussing over mural

Cheers for Sharon Morrison and boos for the Whitefish City Council. I can’t believe all this fuss and energy over a quaint picture of an ice cream cone.

No flashing neon light, or gaudy marquee, just a homey colorful picture. This mural is what gives Whitefish its unique charm.

Does the council and its out-of-town consultants want to make us into every town USA? Re-evaluate your sign ordinance, please.
