Azure wonderful

Last night, I was reminded of how lucky we are to live in the Flathead. I went to see AzureVision Dance Collective's annual concert at the O'Shaughnessy Center. If you don't know about AzureVision, you certainly should. This fledgling professional dance company is bringing something truly wonderful to the valley — fearless creativity.

There are few forums for creativity in its most natural state more vibrant than concert dance. With AzureVision, creativity rules the day, allowing Flathead residents to see beautiful, professional dance that is both poignant and hilarious.

It's a breath of fresh air in this world of mundane reality shows and polarizing 24-hour news. So bravo to AzureVision for creating this work, and bravo to the Whitefish Theatre Company for presenting them.

In closing, I have three words to the residents of the Flathead Valley — support this company. I guarantee you'll be reminded of why you love living here.
