'Band-aid' bond

| March 13, 2008 11:00 PM

Among the signs around Whitefish, this one seems lacking. The school board seems very fond of digging into the pockets of Whitefish residents at the drop of a hat. Central School is hardly finished and now they are asking for more.

Tell them no. If I see another statement like "only $150 on a $150,000 home" — it seems like nothing right? Until there are four or five or six or more.

This certainly isn't the end of their attempts. I have personally spoken with 11 different teachers from the high school who think this is a bad idea.

The terms Band-Aid and overpriced come up a lot. This is a poorly thought-out plan and double the amount of money that should be put into the school. Enrollment is declining.

Let's send this money-grab packing. Vote no for taxpayers.
