Virginia Marie MacAulay, 60, of Whitefish, died in Bremerton, Wash., on May 22, 2008.

She was born to John and Irene (Moore) Jetty on April 26, 1948, in Fort Totten, N.D. She attended high school in Butte and the University of the Frazier College in Chilliwack, B.C.

Virginia married Danny MacAulay on Oct. 24, 1966 in Butte.

She was the manager at the Woolworth store in Port Hardy, B.C., for eight years and a data entry clerk at B.H.P. International in Port Hardy for 10 years.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed skiing, artifacts, quilting, oil painting and riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Virginia was preceded in death by her father John Jetty and sisters Dana Ford and Debra Jetty.

She is survived by her husband Danny, of Chilliwack B.C.; mother Irene Gonder, of Port Orchard, Wash.; son Christopher MacAulay, of Chilliwack; daughters Kimberly MacAulay, of Chilliwack, Jennifer MacAulay, of Abbotsford, B.C., and Danielle MacAulay Berthelet, of Chilliwack; brothers John Jetty, of Bozeman, and James Jetty, of Fort Totten, N.D.; sisters Linda Lodge, of Port Orchard, Wash., Maggie Siers, of Whitefish, Elaine Matlow, of Livingston, Myra Kingbird, of Port Orchard, and Melanie Woods, of Bozeman; grandchildren Raymond McDonald, Melissa McDonald, Mattew McDonald, Douglas MacAulay, Scott MacAulay, Kao MacAulay and Kiera MacAulay; and friends Clarence Longland and Sharon Longland, of Vancouver Island, B.C.

A family farewell took place at Rill's Tribute Center in Port Orchard on May 27, 2008.
