A mother's plea for missing son

| July 10, 2008 11:00 PM

As a mother of five, I've been blessed with an abundance of opportunities to share many life lessons. Of them all, one of the most profound discoveries is that family really is important, no matter how old you are. As an adult, and having gone through some difficult times recently, I have come to realize that it would be a very lonely world without the support and unconditional love of family.

Our family left Whitefish six years ago, but our middle son, Anthony, returned. Our oldest daughter shares his sentiment that Whitefish is "home" and wishes to return there someday as well. I, too, have fond memories of Montana, where the pace of life is more pleasant, and one can never get too much of the spectacular mountain vistas.

Sadly, we haven't heard from our son in many months and wonder if he is still there. Through a series of events, Anthony has decided to shun his family, and we miss him dearly.

Please, if anyone knows of his whereabouts, could you let us know. His mother misses him and hopes that he, too, will realize how important family is, no matter the struggles. Thank you.
