Clyde "Colin" Lewis Wilson, IV, 24
Clyde "Colin" Lewis Wilson, IV, 24 , of Bigfork, MT died at his home on Dec. 31, 2007.
Colin was born on Dec. 30, 1983 in Moraga, Calif. To Clyde Wilson, III and Dianne (Berklund)Wilson .
Colin was a carpenter and fisherman. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, swimming, diving, boating & snow skiing.
He is survived by his parents Dianne & Clyde Wilson of Moraga, CA, 4 children- Paige, Brook, Jake & Logan, sister- Sadie Davies of Beaverton, OR & brother- Erik Wilson of Moraga, CA, grandparents Dr. Curt & Adele Berklund of Spokane, WA & Clyde & Barbara Wilson of Moraga, CA, 16 aunts & uncles & 18 cousins.
A memorial service is tentatively planned for Jan. 26, 2008 at the Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church in Moraga, Calif.

Christopher Carroll, 18
Christopher Carroll passed away January 3, 2008. He was born in Raleigh North Carolina on January 30, 1989. Christopher attended schools in Bigfork, MT and was in his senior year at Anaconda High School this year.
When Christopher was young, he wanted to live by himself in the woods with a bear and an alligator. He once caught a three-pound trout in a small crick across the road from his house. As an avid hunter, he had harvested two big bucks, a bear, and a badger. He owned turtles, salamanders, geckos, and tarantulas.
Christopher was kind, quiet, and had a big heart. He was known by many as a hard worker and was always willing to help people even if he did not know them. His favorite foods included tater tot casserole, chicken cordon bleu, steaks, green beans, and Dinty More Stew. Christopher loved so many things such as snowboarding, the mountains, camping, music, racing cars, mud bogging, working on cars (his favorite, the Camaro), riding horses, fire flies, climbing trees, bon fires, a good challenge, taxidermy, four wheeling, rock climbing, playing Nintendo, the movies "Rocky" and "A Knights Tale", welding, carpentry, metal fabrication, the color blue, animals, his friends, and his family.
Preceding him in death is his grandmother Marjorie Baumann, Conrad, MT. Christopher is survived by his parents; mother Kay (Les) Saari, Big Fork, MT, and father David Carroll, Anaconda, MT; sisters Jennifer Carroll, Bozeman, MT, and Rebecca Saari, Big Fork, MT; grandparents Lewis Carroll, Garrison, MT, Alberta Carroll, Anaconda, MT, and Floyd Baumann, Conrad, MT; aunts Susan Trueax, Anaconda, MT, Laura LaTray, Tacoma, WA, and Linda (Edwin) Ries, Sidney, MT; uncle Sam (Cheryl) Carroll, Oxnard, CA; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Service of Remembrance will be held Monday, January 7, 2008, 2:30 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Anaconda.
Service and cremation arrangements are under the care of KT Riddle Funeral Home.
James Harold Nichols, 78
James Harold Nichols, 78, passed away Dec. 26, 2007, in Yakima, Wash.
He was born Sept. 6, 1929, to Alva Harold Nichols and Ida (Edge) Nichols, in Bigfork. He graduated from Bigfork High School in 1947, and attended Montana State College, majoring in range management. He transferred to the University of Montana in 1952, and enlisted in the Air Force. While in the Air Force, he attended specialized military language training at Indiana University, where he studied and became an expert in several Eastern European languages, including Russian and Bulgarian.
He was stationed in Europe when he proposed to his high school sweetheart, Nona Paul. They were married twice; first via a military radio operator in March 1957, and in August 1957, Jim and Nona were married in a church ceremony in Somers.
He and Nona farmed with her family in the Flathead Valley, before he accepted a position as a research analyst with the National Security Agency. He worked at Fort Meade, Md., and from 1977 until his retirement at the Yakima Firing Center.
The family settled near Naches, Wash., and had a small cherry orchard. He was a devoted husband, father of two sons, and grandfather of five, faithfully attending and supporting the activities of his children and grandchildren.
He was active in St. John's Catholic Parish, serving as parish council president and adult Bible study leader.
He was an avid reader, flower and vegetable gardener and a fine cook who enjoyed family meals, working outdoors, woodcutting and Christmas tree gathering trips to the mountains.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Phyllis Marie.
He is survived by his wife, Nona, of Selah, Wash.; two sons, Clifford and Patty of Toppenish, Wash., and Timothy and Laurie of Brookings, S.D.; five grandchildren, Paul James, Lauren and Luke of Toppenish, and Jordan and Hannah of Brookings; and one brother, Donald and Phyllis, of Portland.
Burial took place at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell.
