Man dead in Ferndale incident

Lake County authorities are investigating the death of a Ferndale man on Monday morning in what they are calling a "suspicious death."

An incident was reported to the Sheriff's Department at 5:38 a.m. on New Year's Eve and three detectives, three deputies, the county attrney, a deputy couty attorney and Lake County Sheriff Lucky Larson were on scene conducting interviews later that morning, according to a release from the Lake County Sheriff's Department.
