Step forward

I attended the open forum regarding the proposed drug policy that would be implemented at Whitefish High School.

I applaud the board and the committee for having the courage to step forward to help what I believe is a generation in crisis. We, as a society, have become complacent. This problem not only affects single-parent families or double-income families but affluent families as well.

We need to step up as a community and support the cry for help from these young people. Many of these kids need the attention that only we as adults can give such as support and encouragement.

I urge you to step forward with your input. Please Whitefish, get involved.
