| April 10, 2008 11:00 PM

Robert Hall, 67, of White-fish, passed away from natural causes on March 29, 2008.

Bob will always be remembered as a skilled and creative silversmith, with a talent for working with elk ivory. He was known to many as "Uncle Bob" for his kind and generous nature.

Bob retired from the Columbia Falls Aluminum Co. plant in May 2003. Many people knew him from the Farmers Market and other local craft fairs.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Janice Hoepfer Hall, in Whitefish; daughter Margaret Hall, in Viroqua, Wis.; son Andrew Hall and wife Kelli, of Riesel, Texas; sister Margaret Harper, of Oakdale, Calif.; and granddaughters Layla, Melissa and Kimberlee.

A memorial service was held at the United Methodist Church in Columbia Falls on April 3, 2008.

The family has suggested that donations be made to the charity of choice in Bob's name.
