Disgruntled

| September 20, 2007 11:00 PM

For those of you who didn’t get the memo, this letter is to inform you all that the resort formerly known as the Big Mountain, under sage guidance of its proprietor, Mr. Foley, has decided to break with established tradition and open Dec. 8, effectively reducing your ski season by 16 days and eliminating the time-honored tradition of skiing on Turkey Day.

Please note that the price of your season pass has not been pro-rated, but on the contrary has been increased.

The resort formerly-known-as Big Mountain sincerely hopes that no “locals” are inconvenienced by this, but ultimately the company has concluded that the interests and traditions of the “locals” have been determined not to be economically viable.

The management asks for your understanding in this matter, as in the past Mr. Foley has been frequently “misunderstood.”

This has been a public disservice announcement by one disgruntled former pass-holder. Thank you.
