Start dancing the pole polka

I was sure glad to read the letter from Diane Rice (Whitefish Pilot, Sept. 6) announcing that pole dancing was going on in ol' Whitefish.

I've danced with a few poles in my life and it was great. They sure know how to cut the rug.

Sure, a brazilian will show you a thing or two in the samba, an argentinian can curl your hair with a smoky tango, and not much beats a cuban doing the rhumba, but catch a few poles letting loose with a polka and your head will definately spin.

Thanks for the update, Diane. Let's all dig out those old clogs, round up the newly arrived poles, and start dancin'.
