Chad Grover

Chad Edward Grover, 35, died Oct. 9, 2007, at Kalispell Regional Hospital.

He was born Nov. 30, 1971, in Park Rapids, Minn., to Linda and Dale Grover. He spent his childhood in Park Rapids, where he earned his Eagle Scout rank.

Chad attended Park Rapids High School, and received a bachelor’s in architecture from Montana State University, where he belonged to the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

Chad married Tina Beck in 1996. Shortly after the birth of their second child, the family moved from Brainerd, Minn., to Whitefish.

Chad was founder of Grover & Company Architectural Firm in Whitefish. He was active in the city of Whitefish, Rotary Club and Ducks Unlimited, and he was chairman of the Architectural Review Committee and a member of the American Institute of Architects.

His friends will remember him for his love of hunting, fishing, golf and hockey.

Chad is survived by his wife Tina; daughter Mackenzie Ann; son Ian Edward; mother Linda and father Dale; brother Kevin; mother- and father-in-law Mary Ann and Ken Beck; sister- and brother-in-law Jennifer and Ryan Beam; grandmothers Vi Grover and Bernice Dorsey; many special aunts, uncles and cousins; and his hunting buddy, Ace.

A memorial service was held Oct. 13, 2007, at Christ Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Interstate Bank in the children’s names.
