Craft day
Columbia Falls United Methodist Church, on Second Street West will have a craft day for kids Saturday, March 31, from 10 a.m. to noon. Need a couple of hours to get ready for spring break? Bring your children to Fun Day. Crafts, games, music, stories and snacks for kids 3 years old, through the fifth grade

Eastern Star
An Americanism program is highlight when Vista Chapter No. 44, Eastern Star, meets Monday, 7:30 p.m., at Columbia Falls Masonic Temple. Grand representatives and grand committee members will be honored.
Women meet
The Columbia Falls Women's Connection invites women and girls to a brunch at 9:30 a.m. March 21 at Los Caporales here. Guest speaker is from Hooper's nursery. For reservations, call 387-4119 or 892-5990.
Arbor Day
An Arbor Day celebration is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. April 28 at the Falls of Glacier Bank sponsored by the Columbia falls Uptown Association. The event will also talk more about making the city a Tree City USA. For more information, contact Barbara at 471-5228 or Laura at 892-7267.
Family find
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is holding a family find event to help folks with their genealogy from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church April 7.
Quilters meet
Teakettle Quilt Guild will meet at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 17 at the Community Center, 235 Nucleus, Columbia Falls. Barb Taylor and Jan Weaver will demonstrate tessellation quilt blocks and provide instructions. Bring your sewing machines and UFOs. New members and guests are welcome.
Dress Sale
The Prom Dress Express will be selling dresses March 16 and 17 at the high school in room 113. On March 16 dresses will be sold from 5- 7 p.m. and on March 17 from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost of the dresses will be from $25 to $30.
Attic sale
The Northwest Montana Food Pantry is having its fourth annual attic sale to support locals veterans and families from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 17 at the Flathead County Fairground. There will be many items for sale. Proceeds benefit the Northwest Montana Veterans Food Pantry. Call 756-7304 to get involved.
