Hurrah for block party

Congratulations and thank you to Whitefish's Railway District for a wonderful new event — The Block Party,

It was held on Saturday at the end of May and was full of diverse activities and music that allowed for a great community gathering.

Whitefish is lucky to have such an invigorated historical center with several of our specialty businesses located in the Railway District — Cantik Interiors, Bean Hive, Fifty Seven Boutique, Glow Luxury Tanning & Fine Swimwear, Heath Korvola Photographic, Iron Horse Properties, Knit 'n Needle, La Boheme, LJ Communications, Loula's Restaurant, Mama Blanca's, MESH Clothing, Pescado Blanco, Quickee Sandwich and Cantina, Reecia's Salon, Soroptimist Thrift Shop, The White Room, Trieweiler Law Firm, Whitefish Antiques, Whitefish Food Bank and the Zane Ray Group.

I applaud Brooke and Maggie of La Boheme for organizing The Block Party and all the supporters who helped make it such a success.
