Riders do well at state rodeo

Local riders had pretty good success last week at the Montana High School Rodeo.

Rachel Thomson of Columbia Falls tied for third in pole bending in the year-end standings and was third in barrel racing as well.

Team ropers Levi Guenzler of Ronan and Shane McCaffree of Columbia Falls took fourth in year-end standings as well.

The athletes all qualified for National High School Rodeo Association Finals in Springfield, IL., July 22-29.
