City management must be changed
To the editor,
I was very glad to read the letter to the editor from Patti Neal. She hit the nail on the head.
It seems the city manager is more interested in new projects for the city than with taking care of the needs of the present property owners. If the present management of the city continues, the council will face two choices. Number one, a revolt of property owners. Number two, filing bankruptcy. It wasn't too many years ago that they were faced with that prospect.
The management of the city must be addressed and changed. This condition of the tail wagging the dog will never work.
I have always believed the old saying: Don't start vast projects with half vast ideas. The mayor and the council must act on the problem, and the sooner the better.
