Enjoyed event

I would like to express my thanks to the Whitefish Community Foundation for the wonderful event that was organized and implemented on Oct. 5. It was the perfect way to give out grants, involve donors in the process and have a general "get together" once a year.

They couldn't have done a better job of doing the event. It was classy, yet homey. We particularly liked the way you presented the food, which was wonderful and clearly "home cooked" not catered. There was plenty of it, with lots of drink available to wash it down, and fabulous music. The flow of the evening was especially appreciated.

I'll have to admit that I was worried that we would be sitting through 90 minutes of awards presentation. To be able to socialize and network for an hour, then very efficiently recognize both donors and grantees in the way you did was perfect.

Your organization is model and you should be proud. I am on the board of directors of the Flathead Community Foundation and will encourage them to take your lead when it comes to planning and implementing events. Please pass on our congratulations and thanks to other board members and volunteers from your organization. Keep up the good work.
