Praise for Red Caboose

| October 11, 2006 11:00 PM

I am writing to thank Richard and Beth Kramer for their considerable efforts to create a wonderful down-home restaurant for Whitefish and jump start the Historical Society's Walking Museum.

I have been working with the Kramers for more than a year with the design and decoration of the Red Caboose restaurant using artifacts loaned by us in addition to artifacts they own. They have been diligent in their desire to fit into Whitefish and respectful about our railroad heritage.

The Stumptown Historical Society has worked for several years in conjunction with the Whitefish Community Foundation to create a walking tour with historical plaques. The Walking Museum goes hand-in-hand with that and enables us to display more of our treasures publicly, since our museum is too small to accommodate everything we own.

Please go see the historical displays in the Caboose and take the opportunity to thank Richard and Beth for their generous efforts as Whitefish business owners.
