Pledge returned

| October 11, 2006 11:00 PM

Editor's note: The following letter was addressed to the board of directors of The Wave.

We are happy to inform you we have reinstated our pledge to The Wave. Enclosed you will find our check for our pledge due at this time.

It was our intention to right a wrong, not to harm The Wave financially. We laud the board for their reversal of the discriminatory practice that was to ban Christian music from The Wave.

We thank you for bringing this matter to a close and trust you will take more care in the future. We feel it could have been handled much more quickly and easily by sitting down with the parties involved and find the compromise you ultimately did, without hiring an attorney paid for with donor money.

Our community of Whitefish is known for its open and caring discussions of differing opinions. This is an expense that could have been avoided with a little different attitude toward your clientele. We would humbly ask the board to be a little more hands-on in these types of matters to avoid further escalation.

Thank you again for all the work you do for our community. In conclusion, I would ask you to please take these suggestions in the spirit in which they are given. I remain semper fidelis (always faithful).
