Can't we all just get along?
What is happening to the town I was born in, in a little house by the City Beach more than 70 years ago?
When I saw the banner-wavers on the front page of the Pilot this past week, I wanted to cry.
There was a time we could accomodate all beliefs in a civil manner.
I, who have played accordian and piano for many organizations, such as Soroptomists, Ex. Care, Riverside Assisted Living, Golden Agers and church, found that both secular and religious music was welcome.
My four children, and also some of my grandchildren, have sung some of the most beautiful music ever written, both secular and spiritual, with the Whitefish High School Choir, under the direction of Bob Clawson.
When I am asked to play in the future, I hope I won't be told what kind of music I have to play.
On another subject, when President Truman visited Whitefish when I was in high school, we greeted him cordially. 'Nuff said.
