Sheffels dedicated to education

Offices that don't attract a great deal of attention can get overlooked in an election like this one. Low key, non-controversial but nonetheless very important is the election of the Flathead County Superintendent of Schools.

Marcia Sheffels, our current Flathead County Superintendent of Schools, certainly has my support for re-election to this position. Conscientious, competent and compassionate, Marcia Sheffels is one of the most dedicated educational leaders I have ever encountered.

A leader with integrity, Sheffels approaches the issues brought before her office with professionalism and respect. She does her research and brings to the office a wealth of different types of experiences to enrich her decision-making.

I've known Sheffels through all the phases of her educational career, as a classroom instructor in English and Spanish, as a supervisor of student teachers and now as county superintendent of schools. To each of these roles, Sheffels brought an old-fashioned work ethic, an expectation of excellence and an energetic enthusiasm that led to great success.

Sheffels brings to the office of superintendent of schools the dedication and experience that taxpayers demand and students and educators deserve. I encourage you to cast your vote for Marcia Sheffels in the June 6 Republican primary election.
