Twins AA team places second
For the Hungry Horse News
After losing four games in a row during regular season play last week, the Glacier Twins AA team found their footing at the Williston, N.D. Tournament last weekend, placing second even after suffering a string of injuries.
The Twins won three out of four games leading up to the final, but couldn't get anything started in the championship game.
On Sunday, the Twins will look to get back into shape by playing an old-timers game at Memorial Field in Whitefish at 1 p.m. Any ballplayer that has played for the Glacier Twins is eligible to play.
The game will serve as a warm-up for a doubleheader on Monday in Whitefish, where the Twins will play the Great Falls Stallions at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. The Twins then head to Yakima, Wash., on Thursday for a weekend tournament.
