Deborah Bergren

Deborah Lynn "Debbie" Bergren, 53, died Dec. 28, 2005, at North Valley Hospital from complications of emphysema.

She was born in Kenosha, Wis., on July 13, 1953, to Gerald J. and Helen (Voight) MacNorius.

She attended schools in Whitefish and in Wisconsin, graduating from Waukegan Township High School. During the time she was in high school in Waukegan, she stayed with her aunt and uncle and built a close relationship with them.

She loved gardening, but her pet project was inventing unique earrings, which she sold on the Internet for the past 10 years.

She is survived by her son, Shawn MacNorius, and parents Gerald and Diane MacNorius, all of Columbia Falls; and a brother, Brian MacNorius; her aunt and uncle, Anne Benson and husband John, of Waukegan, Ill.

Memorial services were held Jan. 3, at the Johnson Mortuary chapel in Kalispell.
