Creating Christmas

| January 5, 2006 11:00 PM

Thanks to so many volunteers who came on Wednesday nights this fall to help refurbish the city's Christmas decorations, and to the many who came for the "hanging" of those decorations the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving.

High school students, from the Honor Society, and others who came to help, from various classes, as well as the Catholic Youth Group; many adults, including Dr. Ricker, Jim and Norma Mackenzie, Russ Porter, Mike Mulldown and others too numerous to mention here were key in the distribution and installation of the decorations on this chilly, snowless Sunday.

A particular thanks to Jim Trout, who manages the financing of this effort year after year, and to Pat Muri and his fellow bucket-truck drivers from Flathead Electric Cooperative, as well as Terry Conat, of Rocky Mountain Painting.

With the efforts of each of these volunteers, Whitefish manages to maintain a wonderful Christmas atmosphere, each year. Thanks to each of you, both named and unnamed.
