Bill Gress

Bill Gress passed on Dec. 15, 2005, in Campo, Calif. Bill was known to the small town as Barber Bill. At a local barber shop, he cut lots of hair and was loved by the town.

Bill was born July 29, 1937, in Whitefish to Anton and Amelia Gress. After high school, he joined the Navy then got married and lived in the surrounding areas of San Diego, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers Bob and Dale; and sons Mike and Billy.

He is survived by sons David, Adam and Pat; daughters Debbie and Suzie; brothers Jim and Ken; sister Kathy; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Bill will be laid to rest with a memorial in the spring with his, as he would say, brother Bob. Bill will be missed by all, we love you.
