Opposition to Harbor Village development

| February 8, 2006 11:00 PM

My wife and I live at 233 Harbor Dr., Harbor Village, some two blocks from the proposed development. We object to the project as proposed for the following reasons:

When we purchased our property we were told we would have use of the "rally grounds," (the 5.4 acres designated for development), for ourselves and our motor home guests.

With the high densities proposed we are very concerned about cars being parked in the streets and in the designated parking areas currently used for the "pavilion," (existing common area No. 1, Harbor Village Phase.

Currently the "rally grounds" are utilized also for overflow parking for large "pavilion" events as well as several motor home rallies per year.

We have a considerable investment in a nice community and would hope the planning board would continue to see the Harbor Village neighborhood be maintained to the highest standards that were initially planned.
