Barbara Anne Ristine

Barbara Anne Ristine, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at her residence in Kalispell, Montana. She was born on May 4, 1949 at Huntington, Indiana the daughter of Norbert and Margaret (Young) Karst.

On January 31, 1970 she was united in marriage to Wayne Ristine. She was a wife and mother to seven children and grandmother to seven. The biggest love of her life was her children and grandchildren. She consecrated her life to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and lived that out in her life as a member of Regnum Christi. She was also a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her father Norbert Karst.

She is survived by her husband Wayne Ristine of Kalispell, MT; her children, Jennifer Ristine of Greenville, RI; Susan Ristine of Fort Worth, TX; Thomas Ristine of Moscow, ID; Margaret Lidstrom of Havre, MT; Laura Ristine of Napa, CA, Matthew Ristine of Kalispell, MT and Rachel Ristine of Bad Munstereifel, Germany, seven grandchildren, her mother Margaret Karst of Huntington, IN and five sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2006 at 12:10 P.M. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, with Father Vic Langhans officiating. Burial will follow services at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery. There will be no visitation. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:00 P.M. in the Johnson Mortuary Chapel. The family suggests that memorial contributions be sent to Legionaries of Christ, P.O. Box 4186, Hamden, CT 06514.
