Community kitchen

Columbia Falls Community Kitchen is celebrating its 10th anniversary of service in our community and invites you to share free meals with them starting Thursday, April 27, through Sunday, April 30, at 6 p.m. in the basement of St. Richard's Catholic Church.

Soccer starts

Women's League Soccer begins Thursday, April 27. Practices will start at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the lower High School fields. Women's League is open to anyone interested in playing - age minimum is 13 and there is no age limit. Games will begin mid-June and extend into August. Toastmasters

Columbia Falls Speaks Toastmaster's meetings have changed days and time to the first and third Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to noon. Next meeting is May 2. Please contact Kristi Hatfield at 892-2868 or Roger Newman at 892-3113 for more information.

Meet Banzet

County Commissioner candidate Jerry Banzet will have a meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. May 4 at the North Valley Senior Center.

Motocross

The annual Kiwanis Mountain Madness Motocross is April 30 starting at 8 a.m. in Hungry Horse. Call 892-1776 for more information on sign-ups.

Clean the Falls

Glacier Bank will hold its annual Clean the Falls day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meet at the bank, then go out and pick up trash around town. There will be a free lunch afterwards.

Booster Club

The Columbia Falls Booster Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. May 1 at the high school gym. The club needs new officers and volunteers.

Swim team

Karaoake night

The Columbia Falls High School Key Club will hold a karaoke night April 28 from 6-9 p.m. in the Columbia Falls High School Cafeteria. Price is $1 to enter, $1 per song.

Grad meeting

Meeting for graduating seniors and parents is May 1 at 7 p.m. in high school staff room to plan graduation celebration. Questions? Call Carol Ladenburg 892-2538.

Heritage Days

Coach appreciation

Glacier United Soccer will have a coach appreciation day May 7 from noon to 6 p.m. at Grouse Mountain. Coaches eat free, all others $5 per person.
