Lion's Pancakes
The Columbia Falls Lions Club pancake breakfast is from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 22 at the Senior Center. Cost is $3.50 for adults, $3 for children 12 and under, or $12 for a family.
Quilters show
The Teakettle Quilters will have their annual quilt show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 22 at the North Valley Community Room.
Clothes closet
The Montana Woman Foundation, a nonprofit organization, is again hosting the Montana Woman's Clothes Closet on April 22 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and April 23 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. It is held in space donated by Plan B located at 37 5th Street in the Devonshire Building on the corner of 1st Ave., East and 5th Street in Kalispell.
Lewis and Clark
Glacier Gateway Elementary fourth graders will have its showing of Lewis and Clark, the musical at 1:30 p.m. April 21. The student show is at 9:30 a.m. A complimentary reception will follow the afternoon performance at the High School Little Theater.
Lewis and Clark II
Canyon Elementary will have its showing of Lewis and Clark at 1:30 p.m. at the school April 28.
Bowhunter ed
Register for the Columbia Falls Bowhunter Education course by calling Dave Yeats at 892-4527. Classes will be held at the North Valley Community Center on Monday, May 8, Thursday May 11, and Monday, May 15 from 6:30-9 p.m. The field course is scheduled for Saturday, May 13 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Swim signups
Columbia Falls Swim Team signups are April 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the North Valley Community Center.
Meet candidates
The Glacier Country Pachyderms will host the three Sheriff's candidates at noon Friday, April 21 at the Bulldog in Kalispell. Cost for lunch is $9 and meeting is open to the public and the press.
Birding outing
Join Flathead Audubon for a pleasant morning of bird watching at the Smith Lake Waterfowl Production Area on Sunday, April 23. Meet to carpool at the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks building on Meridian at 8 a.m. Bring binoculars. To sign up for the trip, contact trip leader Bob Lopp at 257-6886.
Saddle club event
The Rocky Mountain Riders Saddle Club spring workday is April 22 starting at 8 a.m. at the grounds off Highway 2. All members are welcome, lunch will be served, but please bring tools.
