Shyloh Cochran

Shyloh Elizabeth Cochran, 25, died April 6, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born Oct. 23, 1980, in Whitefish to Omar Dean Cochran and Karla Cochran McKellar. Shyloh grew up in Whitefish and graduated from Whitefish High School in 1999.

She went to college at Flathead Valley Community College, and from there to Follys End School of Ministry in London, followed by two years at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, in Redding, Calif.

Shyloh traveled for the Lord to Ireland, Spain and Mexico, along with doing Christian mission work here at home in the United States. Shyloh had a life's passion for dance, music and art to which she dedicated to her beloved Lord Jesus.

Shyloh was preceded in passing by her father, Omar Cochran; grandmother Lorraine Torkelson; and grandfather Rev. Omar "Pap" Friddle.

Shyloh is survived by her mother and stepfather, Karla and Joe McKellar, of Whitefish; brother Jesse Cochran, sister-in-law Kathrine and nephew Ashly, all of Portland; "Grandpa Tork" Torkelson, of Whitefish; grandmother Nina "Dudder" Friddle, of Thomasville, Ala.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will truly miss her.

Services for Shyloh will take place Thursday (today), April 13, at 1 p.m. at Christian Life Fellowship, in Whitefish, with Pastor Brad Brittsan officiating. Interment will be at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery, with a luncheon celebration afterward at Christian Life Fellowship.
