Flathead Cycling, a competitive cycling team, will host the sixth annual Herron Park Cyclocross Race on Sunday, Nov. 6, at Herron Park in Kalispell at 11 a.m. Cyclocross is a 1 1/2-mile long bicycle race on a short circuit where racers encounter obstacles. The course consists of a mix of terrain — grass, dirt trails, gravel and paved roads, and it takes place in all kinds of weather, including rain and snow.

Basketball and volleyball league standings at The Wave have been posted. Co-ed volleyball — 1, Kari Dodge; 2, The Wave; 3, Budweiser; 4, Athlete's Foot; 5, Bulldog Grill. Men's 4-on-4 basketball — 1, Ferk's Casino; 2, Bulldog Grill; 3, Athlete's Foot; 4, Budweiser; 5, Great Northern Bar; 6, Bud Light; 7, Kari Dodge; 8, Hyundai. Top scorers for men's basketball — 1, Darrin Nau, 41 points; 2, Travis Staple, 40 points; 3, Gil Presnell, 37 points. Sports leagues at The Summit health club in Kalispell will begin Nov. 29 with competitive and recreational co-ed volleyball and indoor soccer for ages 16 and up, girls indoor soccer ages 13-15, boys indoor soccer ages 13-15 and indoor soccer for ages 6-12.
